Leadership Transitions
through Coaching
We learn when we have a need to learn; when we are inspired and motivated to make the connections between what we are thinking, what we know, and what we need.
We all fail in isolation. Whether you are in a major corporation or creating a new business, you will benefit from the experience of others. Your coach will help you build connections, introduce you to new concepts, and provide insight into the future of your field by studying the work of thought-leaders.
ARE YOU BUILDING A CURRENT CAREER OR PREPARING FOR THE NEXT PHASE OF YOUR CAREER? We will all hold 4 to 8 different jobs during our worklife. Peter Drucker said that there is no perfect job -- we each build our own job. To help you succeed, MTM offers on-site private and group coaching, and both private or group tele-coaching support.
Send a note to Dr. Maddalena for information on Executive Coaching or Tele-Coaching programs.
Telecoaching programs now available:
- Peer to Peer Coaching - 4, 6 and 8 Tele-Coaching sessions scheduced weekly: participate at your pace to develop new networking and job seeking skills.
- Private Tele-Coaching: Set your schedule to complete your personal development program
WHO SHOULD BE COACHED?
To determine if coaching is the right option for your or your staff, ask the following questins:
- Are you willing to make the time commitment?
- Will you accept the responsibilty of working with your coach to achieve your goals?
- Do you have a clear understanding of what you want to gain and accomplish from the time investment?
If the answer to those questions is "yes", then consider the final question: How will you determine the outcome and benefits of the initative?
The first step to a pleasant and effective coaching event is to partner with your coach, identifying specific goals and creating a workable schedule. Topics typically addressed by those I coach include:
- developing interpersonal relationships,
- improving communication skills,
- learning how to influence others,
- positioning to influence/impact a group,
- gaining respect from all levels in the organization.
Others discover that working with a coach is a reward for successful performance -- an avenue to support personal self-development.

of it
Coaching does not end when the seminar or discussion ends. Participants in MTM's seminars realize that Coaching is on-going, a natural path to growth and development. Seminar participants learn how to ensure their personal development:
- Seek support and ideas from others to address existing problems
- Create a 'communications network'
- Develop a plan for continuous growth.
MTM offers programs in Mentoring, Coaching and Facilitating Change, as well as on-line discussions and small group meetings.
